Platelet-Rich Plasma for Skin Rejuvenation
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy has become quite a sought-after non-surgical procedure. PRP can rejuvenate the skin by injecting your own blood plasma under the dermis. This stimulates cell growth and collagen production. It can also improve a patient’s facial complexion, texture and lost facial volume. PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is also used for anti-aging treatments, acne marks, and fat transfers.
What is a PRP Facial?
A PRP facial otherwise known as a “PRP blood facial” is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment designed to make your face look healthier and more youthful. This procedure uses platelet-rich plasma to exploit your skin's natural rejuvenation process. PRP facials can be administered using a PRP Kit and a microchanneling or microneedling device.

A PRP facial is not something you can do at home. It has to be conducted by a trained medical professional in a medical setting. PRP facial rejuvenation targets individuals who are looking for a natural treatment to improve acne scarring, crow’s feet, reduce fine lines and more. Contact your local dermatologist or medical spa professional to see if you are a good candidate.

What is Microneedling or Microchanneling with PRP for Skin Rejuvenation?
Microneedling and microchanneling with PRP are very popular cosmetic treatments used by many medical professionals. Microneedling and microchanneling uses devices, such as the Integrity Hydra Needle or a microneedling pen, to penetrate the patient's skin and deliver PRP to the desired area without harming the skin. The patient will see an increase in collagen production, tightening of pores, better complexion and overall tone and texture of the skin, reduction in acne scarring and blemishes, as well as a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, plus more. There is minimal to no downtime during these procedures and results can be seen almost immediately.
